  1. Hallo, My name is Shirley. I have followed every information about the tigers and I am curious if Machli my favourite tiger is still alive. I hope she is and I hope that you have help here, because of her old age. This because she of her fame, she have brought up more than $ 10 million, so she deserves now to be helped. She does not deserve to die a slow starvation because of her age.

  2. Hi Shirley, Machli is still alive. She is old and struggles to hunt. She survives with only one broken canine. Currently, she is given live bait by forest officers to keep her alive.

He is truely magnificent his coat has scars from his territorial fights I guess and a gash over his left eye that has healed now. Can you confirm that he is Asia's largest tiger???

    1. It is September, 2013. Does anyone know about Machli? Is she still surviving by the live bait given to her? I have not heard lately on her progress or if she has passed away and at peace. I hope no matter if she is still with us or not that everyone will remember this magnificent animal. If anyone knows her status, please reply!!! Thank you!
